The Clubhouse is open and available to members and their guests as follows:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday through Saturday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM
Sunday: Closed with exception to certain holidays and special member receptions
Dining Hours:
Members and spouses may make dining reservations by calling the Club Office, through the Westmoreland Club website, or via the Westmoreland Club app.
Lunch and dinner service hours for The Downtown Grille, The Porch and The Malt Club are as follows:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday through Friday: 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Saturday: 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Sunday: Closed with exception to certain holiday dinners and special member receptions
Earlier and later dining hours, special menu requests, and dining in any one of our nine private dining rooms can be accommodated by calling the Club Office.
Dress Code
Club Casual Attire is permitted in the Clubhouse at all times with the exception of the Main Dining Room ***. MEN: Collared shirts, tailored slacks, dress denim and dress shoes or loafers.
WOMEN: Tailored slacks, dress denim, skirts, blouses, or comparable attire. NON-PERMISSABLE ATTIRE: Ripped, distressed or frayed denim, athletic shoes, flip flops, baseball caps, cargo shorts, athletic shorts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, cargo pants, tee shirts of any kind, tank tops, halter tops, or elastic leggings (spandex).
Relaxed Summer Casual Attire for The Porch, The Malt Club & The Courtyard from Memorial Day through Labor Day:
MEN & WOMEN: In addition to Club Casual Attire, dress shorts and Bermuda shorts with collared shirts and leather dress sandals are permitted. Shorts will not be permitted in the Downtown Grille or other areas of the clubhouse.
Cell Phone Policy
When entering the Clubhouse, the Club asks all members and guests to turn their cell phones onto vibrate. Cell phones, smart devices and laptop computers may be used in The Nook area and private rooms but are not permitted in member dining rooms, bars, The Porch and Malt Club.
Guests
Guests, including relatives of members, will be accorded privileges of the Club only when accompanied by a member or associate member. No person residing within fifty (50) miles of the Club may be a guest at the Club more than five times per year. The privileges of the Club may be extended by courtesy card to out of town guests. The member or associate member shall be responsible for the conduct of his/her guest or guests and for any charges not paid by such guest or guests in the same manner as if contracted by the member or associate member. The Club will always endeavor to help members entertain their guests in the Clubhouse, provided prior arrangements have been made with the manager.
Children
Children of members 18 to 25 may dine at the Club unaccompanied by a parent. Reservations must be made by the parent(s) in advance by calling the Club office. All charges will be closed to the parent(s) account. No one under the age of 21 is permitted in the bar.
Parking
Parking on the Westmoreland Club premises must be confined solely to members or bona fide guests during the time in which these members are actually in the clubhouse. For the convenience of our members and their guests, we offer valet parking during lunch hours, dinner hours, and during special events. In addition, we have free parking at the Citizen’s Bank Parkade and Wilkes-Barre City Lot (entrance on Northampton Street). Your parking ticket retrieved at the parkade will be stamped on the reverse side at the front desk at the Club. The stamped ticket will take care of your parking charge for one hour at lunch.
